Steve Pauley, MD FACS,is a resident of the Ketchum/Hailey, Idaho area. Steve has been instrumental in working with these two cities to create and adopt two of the most outstanding Outdoor Lighting (Dark Sky) Ordinances in the Nation.
Part of his work was the creation of the Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation that he has sent me. With his kind permission, it is posted here.
The presentation contains many good slides and photos, showing examples of good and poor lighting practices.
This is a large file (about 10.5MB). If you have a fast connection, it should download quickly. In my case, I have a V-90 56K Modem, and usually log on at around 50K. At that speed, it took me about 30-minutes to download the whole presentation.
I also want to thank Magapipe Communications for hosting such a large file on a personal web site!
